Customer Rating: Summary: A Good Batman experience Comment: Batman Beyond Season 2 was enjoyable to watch. Although if you are expecting a Bruce Wayne type of Batman then you may be a little disappointed.
I never really got into this show when it was airing in my country of New Zealand, mainly cause they used the stupid title Batman of the future, a dumb name like that can put some people off a show.
It is done by Bruce Timm & co (Batman animated Series Team) so though it is a different show it still has that good story element to it. Legendary Kevin Conroy is also back to play elderly Bruce Wayne.
This version of Batman is set about 50 years later from the previous Batman series where an elderly Bruce Wayne has teamed up with a young hot shot Teenager called Terry McGinnis. Bruce and Terry don't start well after Terry steals the Bat suit to bring justice to the crooks who killed his father. This new Bat suit is choc full of gadgets to help Terry along with a communicator and video link built in so Bruce can keep track of him.
So to rap things up this is a show that enhances your Batman experience, different enough from previous Batmans making it a worth while purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great show Comment: I loved Batman Beyond when it was on Cartoon Network and was very unhappy when it ended/CN stopped showing it. I was quite excited to receive this!
Customer Rating: Summary: THE BEST BATMAN EVER Comment: This show was very cool and you can watch them over and over the only problem where is Blight the best batman beyond villian of them all he's the one who killed terry's dad batman should of ben able to have a real ending for both blight and batman and thats the bottom line.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cut short before its time... Comment: This series, as short as it was, rocked. Batman Beyond was an awesome continuation of the Batman mythos. The voice acting, writing, and animation were top notch for the time.
Even though the show was marketed at 13 year olds, much of the storyline writing was sophisticated enough to attract 20-30 somethings. Unfortunately, WB was short sighted and killed the show prematurely.
Kevin Conroy continued his voice work, making it gravel-laced for a truly impressive elder Bruce Wayne.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best of the 3 sets Comment: Batman Beyond Season 2 has some of the best episodes and features of the 3 Batman Beyond boxed sets. It's interesting to see the perspective the writers had on this series and the part it played in the development of Justice League. I highly recommend this series if you're a Batman fan or just like animated series with decent writing.
