When I got this I was surprised to see that the inside was nice and soft and fit easily on my bike. It has kept the sun and rain off my bike as well as sap from my pecan tree.With a little thought and adjustment you can get the cover to fit over your bike with the bike being locked.
Someone joked that my bike would be warm this winter and I have no doubt it will.
I live in north central Texas and it is hot hot hot here and this cover has stood up to the Texas sun and heat with no problems at all. So, it is difficult to find a bike cover that covers it completely. This bike cover is great in that it is big, heavy, and sturdy enough to stay on the bike. For the majority of the time I have no problems whatsoever. However, sometimes we have some real freaky rains here in Florida and it is impossible to keep the bike from collecting water inside the tarp (when the rain is coming from every direction-I kid you not).
